Edwin L. Spitzer , 73 of Winter Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Hospice of The Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He was born October 30, 1936 in Wilkinsburg, PA. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and was retired from Westinghouse where he worked as the Director of Communications. Mr. Spitzer has left behind, his Wife: Donna M. Spitzer, Three Children: Nancy & (Tony) Ridenbaugh, Elizabeth Spitzer and Edwin James Spitzer, Two Grandchildren: Ryan and Kaitlyn Ridenbaugh. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Father George Dunne, s.s.s. as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 20, 2009 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of The Comforter at 605 Montgomery Road Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714 in memory of Mr. Spitzer.
